36 week check-up

I went in for my 36 weeks checkup on Tuesday. We had another ultrasound and it showed me being at 38 weeks and the baby weighing 6 1/2 pounds. So, he is showing to be a large baby if I go 4 more weeks. The Dr checked me and I haven't changed any since last week. I am still 1 cm dilated although, Dr Stutts thought the baby was still high up. We are concerned with the size of the baby and whether or not I can deliver him if he grows any larger so Dr Stutts suggested a C-section and told me to make a decision before my next visit coming up this Tuesday. He is concerned that the baby is too large and I will have a long and difficult labor like I had with Hunter. He looked back in my chart and I was in labor 20 hours with Hunter and he only weighed 7 pounds 7 ounces and was 20 inches long. He wasn't a big baby but too big for mommy but he was finally delivered but Mommy had alot of pain and my blood pressure was elevated and Hunter's heart rate was dropping. So we have a big decision to make. We are leaning toward having the c-section but the only thing is that we have moved into a new house that has 2 flights of stairs and I am concerned with getting up them. I can stay downstairs but the shower is upstairs. I am sure we will figure things out when the time comes. It wont be for long. The recovery for a c-section is 4 weeks but I have talked to several people that say after 2 weeks, it gets so much better. I know that Bryan and Hunter will help me out alot.

We are finally moved into our new house and things are starting to settle down some but still so much to do. We still have some things sitting around in boxes so if you come by to visit, walk past it and try to ignore it. Ha Ha! The nursery is completed and I am so glad of that. I was so afraid it wouldn't be done in time but its done except for some decorating. I have hit the nesting face in my pregnancy. I have been decorating for Christmas and getting things ready for the baby to get here. There is so much bed rest a girl can take. I have cleaned this big house so many times but its a wreck today and I feel like crap and just cant make myself do it. Its hard to keep a house clean when no one picks up after themselves. I will try to re post again next week after the Dr and let you know the day the C-section will be scheduled. I will post some pictures of the house later. My compute is slow right now.

33 week Check-Up ( Matthew is on his way!)

We went to the Dr on Monday and I was measuring 35 weeks and only 5 pounds gained in 8 months so Dr Stutts wanted to make sure if the baby was weighing big and I was further along or if I had too much fluid around the baby. I had some ketones in my urine and Dr Stutts fussed at me for skipping meals. I haven't felt like eating much more than one meal a deal lately. We have been moving the past 2 weeks and things are so hectic and busy here. I am really starting to get very tired in these last weeks of pregnancy.
Anyway, I went back yesterday and had another ult
rasound and Matthew is weighing 5 pounds or more and they moved up my due date. Fluid was great around him, he's just gaining weight fast. They are gonna do another ultrasound November 18th to check his weight. Dr Stutts doesn't want him getting too big that I cant deliver on my own. Hunter weighed 7lb 7 oz and I had a terrible time delivering him naturally. I really do not want a C-Section, so he is gonna watch his weight and see what the plan is on the 18th. They are thinking I may deliver around Thanksgiving or the fist week of December. The ultrasound technician said that they have to be very careful with little baby white boys "Little White Boy Syndrome" b/c they tend to gained weight faster than their lungs develop and they didn't want to induce before his lungs finish developing. I ask everyone to please pray for this little man. This has been a long road and I know God will take care of everything in the end. We are just so excited about meeting him and bringing him home to our new house. Although, I still have everything sitting around in boxes and the nursery hasn't even been started yet. Bryan has been working at his normal job and hasn't had a break when he works off b/c we had so much to move. It took us literally 2 weeks to move our stuff. Lets just say, This Spring, we will have a big major yard sale. haha! Anyway, my shower is scheduled to go on as planned even though Matthew may already be here or we may be in the hospital. Its gonna be November 30th at my friend Chasity's house. I have posted a picture of the invitation.

Dr Visit and Matthew's 4d ultrsound

He kept bending his little foot forward and playing with his toes. I thought this was precious!

He has his Big Brother Hunter's nose and cheeks.

Today was our 4d ultrasound and we got lots of pictures of Matthew. He wasn't in the best cooperating mood. He wanted to keep his hands in front of his face and at first it was his legs. He is head down and in position for delivery but he is raising his legs to his face like a book opening and closing and then digging his toes into the very bottom of my stomach. That is why I have been in excruciating pain the past 2 weeks or so. I was scared I was actually trying to go into labor. He is already showing me what a little mess he will be when he gets here. They believe he is weighing around 3 pounds right now. I measured 31 weeks , no weight gain (only 1 pound this whole 31 weeks)and the Dr says I will deliver before the due date b/c the baby had dropped so much. My blood pressure was fine today and Dr Stutts said for me to continue bed rest and taking my meds 3 times a day cause it was helping. He said if the blood pressure kept going back up after today's visit then he would have to take the baby but as long as I followed the regimen, then I could carry till 37 weeks. I was relieved. I have been very scared that he was coming any time and I didn't want to think about staying in Huntsville like they originally thought. He told me if I had 4 or more contractions in 1 hour to go to the labor and delivery. I have started having back contractions the past week but they are about 10 minutes apart. I go back to the Dr on November the 3rd. Everything is moving right along now and the countdown is on.

We are moving into our new house this weekend and things are really stressful in the Fuller household. Everyone is very ill and agitated and I just can't wait for things to get better. Stephanie came yesterday and packed up most of my upstairs till she ran out of newspaper and boxes. Bryan bought more boxes at Sam's tonight and she is gonna come back tomorrow and pack some more. I am really hating that I cant do anything to help with the move. I have to stay rested and keep my blood pressure down and the swelling down so this baby has more time to grow. Anyway, I will update later on the next Dr visit and the move. Maybe we will be settled in by the next post with the exception of boxes unpacked until Matthew arrives. lol Anyway, take care and God Bless.

Catching Up!

Its been a while since my last entry. Lets just say things have been so busy at the Fuller house. We have been working very hard in the house getting it ready to show to potential buyers and there isn't much I can do b/c of my high blood pressure. We sold out house this past Tuesday. As I was signing the contract on the house I started tearing up. When they left I cried some b/c this was the first house Bryan and I bought and we were so happy the day we bought it as I imagine Falon and Josh were too. We have had some very happy memories in this house and I will always miss it.

We are very excited about closing and moving into our new home soon.
The buyers for our house now, close their loan by the end of them month and we have to turn over keys and be completely moved out by Thanksgiving Day. That means I will have a month or so before Matthew gets here to settle into my new house and hopefully relax before he arrives. Yeah Right! lol We are buying Bryan's parents house and they are building them a new house across the road from us. They are very excited and we are too. They broke ground on their new house Friday and hopefully they will be in there by January 1st, if weather permits. So, there is alot to be done and a short time to do it in. I am not much help these days. My blood pressure is staying up and although I am taking medicine 3x a day for it, its only lowering my bottom number. I am swelling alot and the Dr wants me lying around resting. Its driving me nuts. I snuck out and went to my nephew's ballgame Friday night and I had to leave cause I started swelling so bad and my blood pressure jumped up. I wanted to stay very active till the baby arrives but its just not possible for me to do that. This happened with Hunter but not until my last month and I still have till Christmas to go. I go back to the Dr on Wednesday to have my Sugar Test and check my Iron and follow-up on the blood pressure. He said if it isn't better then I would come in every week or every other day till the due date. I hope I don't have to do that. I will try and update the blog on the visit for those of you that keep up with my entries. I have a busy few months ahead of me,so I may not have the time to update as much. Until next time......

25 week OB Visit

I went Tuesday to my 25 week Dr visit and my blood pressure was high, so they put me in a room and had me lie on my left side for about 30 minutes or so and Dr Stutts came in and re checked it and it was still rising. He put me on Blood pressure medicine 3x a day and he is checking me for Pre-eclampsia. I had this with Hunter but it wasn't until my 38th week and he put me on bedrest with Hunter. I go back to see Dr Stutts this Tuesday for evaluation of the BP med. The baby's heart rate was 152 as it always is. He is doing great according to the Dr. I am measuring right ton target and gained 1 pound of what I have lost through out the pregnancy back. Dr Stutts said I looked great for 6 months along. He is such a wonderful Dr. I am grateful to him for everything he has done for us to get where we are today. He is truly a caring Dr and has the best bedside manner. I will update the blog on Tuesday when we get results back from my tests and see what happens. I'm hoping the BP will get stabilized cause I have too much to do in the next 3 months preparing for this little guy to arrive.

Addicted to Twilight, Cleaning & Pregnancy Update

I have gotten so addicted to these books my friends are reading and can't put them down. They are called the Twilight Saga and the movie comes to theatres I believe November 11th. I have been so busy getting ready for the baby that I am still stuck on book 2 but almost finished with it. I got a little disappointed in it cause the guy leaves the girl and she is so depressed and that bugs me. I have to admit though that I cheated and took a sneak toward the end just to see if he comes back and he does. My friends Shelana told me not to stop reading it so I havent but things are so crazy here. I havent felt the greatest and I have been trying to box some things up in this house to remove the clutter before the potential buyers come to look at our house. Hunter's room about killed me Monday. I have never in my life saw such a mess. I boxed up most of his toys and I am gonna go ahead and put them in Bryan's parents basement since we are buying their house. I look at how much I boxed up and realize there is no way a kid his age needs all of this and we have another one on the way. When Bryan works off again, we are gonna start in our basement boxing up stuff and setting it off to the side. There are a set of mattresses down there that is lying on top of alot of my baby furniture and things I need to get out. It has been so long since I have had a baby that I need to see what is still good and what i need to buy. I have found most of Hunter's baby clothes. The roofers just finished our shingles this week and they look very good. I am very proud with how the roof ended up. We still got more painting to do but Erik is gonna finish that up for me this week. I am too scared to do anything b/c I have been hurting alot lately and have felt really bad to be just 6 months pregnant. I go back to the Dr. next week and I will discuss this with him. Im sure everything is fine though. I do get a little scared at times since I had that miscarriage last January, which is expected. My little man has started moving alot, mainly at night after I am settled down for bed. I can't wait to meet him. We are getting very anxious about his arrival here at the Fuller house. Hunter is getting bored with me being pregnant and is ready for his baby brother to get here. No one is more ready than I am but not to ready. We are looking forward to our 4d ultrasound that is coming up in a few weeks. They said I can have it done at 28-32 weeks. I am really excited to get a sneak peek at what he will look like. I am sure he will be gorgeous just like his daddy and big brother.

Hunter has Reading Glasses

Hunter had to get reading glasses about 3 weeks ago. He has been having really bad headaches and the eye Dr thinks this could help with them. He says that Hunter may grow out of this and not need these glasses but maybe 2 years or so. Hunter was so excited to get them but now it's been war trying to get him to wear them. He looks very intelligent in them. He said that a kid in his class made fun of him for wearing them and called him ugly and that is why he don't wanna wear them. Kids can be so cruel. I told him not to pay any attention to what kids say. He is wearing them more now. If he is anything like his straight forward Momma, then he will probably tell that little girl what he thinks the next time she says something. lol I'm so proud of him this year. He has started the year off with all A's of course and scored above average on his Dibels again. He is a very smart little boy and I tell him this everyday. I want him to know how proud his Daddy and I are of him and to never doubt that.
